Greetings,

Welcome to the fall issue of Healing Hypnotherapy News! It's amazing how time has flown. I hope you experienced the "summer ease" I wrote about in my last newsletter and are now refreshed and ready for the changes of a new season.

Fall invites us to experience the beauty of change in many ways. The leaves on the trees turn color. The days become cooler and crisper. Afternoon light grows golden. We need only look to nature for proof that change is natural. How we change and transform is impacted by where we choose to focus our attention. Read on for tips on cultivating a positive focus and the healthy transformations that follow.

Welcoming Change, Attracting Well-Being

Welcoming Change, Attracting Well-Being

by Jackie Foskett, CH

As the days get shorter and life's activities seem to be taking a run in the fast lane, it may seem more challenging to focus on your health and well being. But it's not as difficult as you may think. By using your powerful inner mind, you can tap into your own innate resources and be prepared in body, mind and spirit for whatever comes your way.

Focus on the Positive
Once again, I refer you to my April newsletter and a look back on the "Laws of Attraction," which are always an important element in change and transformation. First ask yourself this question: do you want to continue feeling healthy, energetic, and good about yourself this fall? Chances are you do. If so, follow tip #6 and focus on this desire rather than any worries you may have about encountering illness, stress or self-doubt with the change of seasons.

Use Your Imagination
Now, build on your positive focus by heeding tip #7 and using your imagination. Imagine yourself continuing to exercise, as you make your health and well-being a top priority. Imagine preparing healthy soups you can freeze to make evening meals easier. Imagine how you will feel as you keep your commitment to yourself and how that decision will impact so many other areas of your life.

As Karen Casey states in the title of her book Change Your Thoughts and Your Life Will Follow, I, too, encourage you to use your powerful inner mind to create a life you love.

Transform the Holidays with My Fall Workshop

Too early to start thinking about the holidays? Not if you want to prepare yourself for a season that is filled ease. For the second year, I will be offering my workshop "De-Stress and Love Your Holidays." Join other participants as you say good-bye to anxiety and stress--and learn to experience the season in a way that leaves you with more energy, time and a sense of well-being.

In this fun workshop, you'll learn easy ways to:
- Enjoy all the parties and not gain weight
- Be in better physical shape on January 1st
- Handle the increased stress the season can bring
- Plan a schedule that promotes a balanced life

Please watch for more information in the next few weeks. Enroll in this dynamic workshop, then sit back and relax as you look forward to a stress-free holiday!
